Heading Out...

A year of planning finally bears fruit.  A week in Istanbul, followed by ten days in Israel.  Departing in 42 hours, a flight halfway round the world begins the journey -- an exploration of culture, history, the arts and customs of two cultures which have cradled some of the greatest and most enduring contributions to human civilization.
